Broker's Comments

This lovely trailer sailer is one of the last built in this line of famous Trappers designed by Ed Dubois. And his design really ticks all the boxes with PBO giving her rave reviews when first launched onto the market.
She has a deep and very heavy vertical lifting bulb keel with hydraulic and/or manual lift.
(The current owner has put in a very clever window to view the keels position at all times for safety).
The 8hp outboard is located in the cockpit well making it easy to remove any prop fouls, and she will dry out upright on her bulb and stern if you wish.
With Roller Reefing and all lines led to the cockpit she would be perfect for short handed sailing,
There are lots of practical home comforts below decks, with a good cooker and sink with tap and water storage, all set up in a clever system that allows the owner to slide the galley aft into the quarter berth giving more saloon room.
There is even a proper Sea toilet.
Because she has a fractional rig she is easily de-powered, and with the comforts just outlined you really wouldn't expect much performance. Here comes the real surprise. She will ghost along in the lightest breeze and can be a handy club racer in the right hands with her exceptional performance to windward.
The mast can be easily lowered by gin pole with 2 people, and this boat comes with a 4 wheel braked road trailer with shaped guide bunks and rollers for easy retrieval.
She looks well looked after, maybe the topside paint could do with a freshen up but with very serviceable sails she offers a package that would be very difficult to beat in the 24 foot range at this price.
