Broker's Comments
This beautiful, design category A, Windy 52 Xanthos is, without doubt, one of the loveliest boats that I've had the pleasure of visiting.
Upon approach, her first impressions are of sleek, stylish looks and well appointed equipment.
As you alight, you'll notice the large swim platform - ideal for fun and frolics, as well as relaxation in the sun and you'll then find the aft deck, which is large and open, yet slightly more sheltered from the elements - I can imagine lovely cocktail parties and canapes in this area - there is also easy access to her impressive and clean machinery space below.
From the aft entertainment deck, we pass through wonderful sliding doors to the inviting, contemporary and incredibly well appointed cockpit. There is plentiful seating in here, along with a wet bar, television, huge electrically driven sunroof and all put together in a manner that is exceptionally pleasing to the eye, with matching hues and lovely teak decking.
Down below, we find a cavernous interior, lined with beautiful wood - this finish continues throughout the whole interior and joins compartments seamlessly.
Her saloon is designed for comfort and relaxing and the galley is well appointed, with plenty of storage and cooking facilities.
Two lovely aft cabins - one double, one twin, allow family, friends or guests to stay with you in style - I'm sure they'll be grateful! The associated toilet compartment, with built in shower and electrical toilet, plus many delightful fixtures and fittings will impress too.
The front section of this boat is dedicated to the master cabin - a huge double bed, wardrobes, a vanity unit, television and an en suite toilet compartment feature here and, as per the rest of the vessel, air conditioning abounds, so you can rest at any temperature that you like.
Technically, she is driven by two powerful Volvo engines, with generator back up when you need it. Her engine space is clean and well appointed too, with easy access to most equipment. Her helm position has many features that can be adjusted to make life for the helm and first mate as comfortable as it can be, along with a huge array of controls and instrumentation - all designed to encourage and enable safe and easy navigation and manoeuvring.
All in all, this boat really appears to have been incredibly well loved and looked after - my only criticism would be some aging upholstery in the cockpit, though I think there is certainly life left in it.
If you'd like a boat that could really make you feel that you've made it to the top, then don't hesitate to look at her soon - an absolute beauty!
