Broker's Comments
Westerly Centaurs are out there aplenty and the asking price as well as the condition varies wildly.
This particular example has had a good deal of money and time spent on her in recent years, right up to the middle of last year when everything stopped.
Consequently, externally she needs a number of days to knock her back into shape with a pressure washer and a scrubbing brush not to mention a couple of tins of anti-fouling paint wouldn't go amiss.
The sails appear to be in good serviceable order, particularly the mainsail which looks relatively recent and feels crisp.
Down below all of the woodwork has been re-varnished to a very high standard and the upholstery is in great shape.
The engine will need the mother of all services" to get the best out of it but is looking a bit tired.
On balance, a cosmetically sound example with some nice features and with a little effort the outside can look as good as the inside.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
