Broker's Comments
This good example of the ever-popular Westerly Centaur benefits from the not so common ‘C’ layout providing a larger saloon area with the galley moved aft. As many owners will testify, they sail really well, have loads of accommodation and storage for their size and were also well designed and well built. This 1978 model has been well cared for by the current owner. The topsides and deck were professionally cut back polished, non-slip replaced and repaired as required in 2007. The underwater hull was treated with 5 coats of the Awlgrip Hull Guard epoxy system in March 2001. Sovereign meter readings taken in the October 2009 survey and were reported by the surveyor to be satisfactory.
The current owner has owned her for 7 enjoyable years and has maintained her well so that she is now ready to provide her new owner many more years of sailing.
