Broker's Comments
Once upon a time yachting journalists would describe a yacht as ‘a proper little ship’.
This accolade, this term of endearment, has become so clichéd I hesitate to use it to describe this fine example of a 38’ Bruce Roberts Spray . In fact I refuse point blank, she is a proper BIG ship, in yachting terms at any rate! Crafted from steel by Sirius Yachts of Stourport and fitted out in Welsh Oak her owner (a retired mariner) had intentions of sailing to blue waters. Sadly these ambitions were left unrealised but together they have cruised the western seaboard of the British Isles, in safety and comfort. This yacht has been well used and lovingly maintained by a competent owner.
She will make a fine cruising home for someone and I have not seen a better example of the marque.
You can undoubtably find a cheaper Spray out there, several in fact, but it is highly unlikely you'll find a better one
