Broker's Comments
Ideal for coastal cruising & creeking, the lifting keel Southerly 28 has a good reputation as a strudy & quality yacht. Designed for shorthanded cruising, they make a great family motor sailer.
This example has been extensively sailed in the past, around the south coast, across the channel & into the canals to get to the Med. She could do with some t.l.c. but she is certainly worth it to get her back out there for the season.
The deck is easy to move around, whilst the cockpit with wheel steering, is deep, safe & has plenty of locker space.
Down below she has a second steering position (currently disconnected) and an open plan saloon & galley, giving a light and airy feel. The fore cabin has a cool bunk bed set-up with handy storage lockers.
