Comentario del broker
The first ever Offshore One Design class, 114 SCOD's were built, over half of them by Burnes Shipyard. An outstandingly successful design by Charles Nicholson and a true cruiser racer that enjoys keen class racing even today. Stiff, sea-kindly with excellent stability, SCODs are dry, well balanced, have a good turn of speed and point well.
The current owner bought this one in 2002 and spent the following year on a major refit project. She was stripped back to bare wood inside and out. The interior was completely rebuilt. Frames, floors, keelbolts, decks, etc checked and attended to as necessary. Much time and money has been spent repairing, replacing, improving and updating her then and since. With the benefit of a nearly new engine, new sails and much new equipment, this is a great opportunity to acquire a very pretty and well-sorted little classic.
