Broker's Comments

A truly rare find in a classic motor yacht this Monk 43 foot flybridge sedan is authentic and appears in superb condition today. Built in the 70's by Seattle's Vic Franck Boatyard the boat shows today like new. A 2024 survey found the vessel sound and in excellent condition.

The interior is open and offers great visibility to the outside. Two private cabins and a marine head compartment with shower accommodate owners and guests. The helm features the original chrome analog instrumentation. The galley is original as well with a diesel cooking stove, icebox freezer and separate refrigerator. There is a lot of room in the aft salon with it's large built-in sofa and this space opens to a teak outside cockpit deck. A forced air diesel cabin heater keeps the inside spaces dry and warm.

The flybridge is very large with ample seating and storage for the RIB inflatable shore boat with a davit for launching. The boat has been stored in a boathouse since new and the exterior finish shows this care and treatment.

If you are looking for a classic wooden motor yacht in as-new condition please contact me soon for a personal showing.
