The engine has an automatic start mechanism which is connected to opening the cockpit locker. The advantage being that you do not have to pull a cord etc. so it allows for quicker starting.

This Hunter Horizon 23 is compact family cruiser, with a very good sailing ability, and particularly easy handling. She has a fractional rig with self-tacking jib. Both twin keel and fin keel versions were built - Hunters calliing the twin keel versions 'twin fin' rather than 'bilge keel' to emphasise their performance. This one looks to be a very clean and tidy example.

The Horizon 23 provides excellent accommodation below decks, given her size. A generous aft-cabin and two single berths mean that a small family will be able to get a lot of fun and also relax in comfort after a day sailing. This Hunter looks very well kept below decks as you will see from the pictures and video.

This Hunter Horizon 23 Sailing boat is a great boat for the sailing enthusiast who wants a modern looking vessel, that is easy to handle and is comfortable enough for going on holidays. She is so well designed and looks really clean and tidy. The rigging was replaced in 2008 and the sprayhood and stack pack have also been renewed. The boat appears to have been very well maintained as you will see from the pictures and video.
