Solid Douglas Pine and Larch spars supported by spliced, served and payed galvanised rigging on deadeyes and lanyards. Extensive sail wardrobe in cotton and Duradon including 4 new front sails from 2009 Raptsey & lapthorn deisgn, made of dacron champagne, top jib, flying jib, 2 staysails.
Main and mizzen sails have good stitching and are in reasonable condition, despite looking old. A good wash is needed. Could last another 5 to 7 years.

Originally built in Ostend around 1940, she was rebuilt in Devon by John Moody in the early 80's. Further refit work was undertaken in 2007. Displacing 23 tons, she gives the feeling of great strength. 40mm Larch planks below the waterline and 50mm Elm above. The decks are 45mm Larch. Oak frames with Elm backbone and ends. Fastenings are galvanized, hot tar dipped ships nails and galvanized bolts. The coach roof is pitch pine.
