Broker's Comments
I found this Ericson 38-200 interior to be bright and airy. The many portlights and overhead hatches bring the light in from every quarter. The medium-blue upholstery is in very good condition, and along with the teak joinery really gives this yacht a warm and traditional feel. I was struck by the beautiful condition of everything on-board. Starting forward there is a spacious V-berth with lots of cabinets and storage. A separate seat and cabinet to starboard gave this cabin a spacious feel. Moving aft, the saloon has a U-shaped dinette to port (that converts to a large double berth), and a facing settee to starboard. The interior offers a roomy configuration for a cruising couple and is spacious enough for a larger family. Further aft, the navigation station is to starboard and the well-outfitted galley to port. The head is aft starboard, and is roomy with a separate shower stall and nice details. The enclosed second stateroom, bright and well ventilated, is located in the aft port quarter.
High quality details are evident throughout the yacht.
Pride of ownership and a commitment to traditional yachting is what this yacht said to me - pristine condition! The owners have spent many thousands of dollars in upgrades and new equipment, making this an appealing vessel to enter the market.
