This incredible Gallion is reputed to be a half scale replica of what was probably the first ever royal yacht. The boat's builder was inspired by how the Dutch presented Charles II with a sailing yacht in 1646 as a gift to mark his return from exile and re-accession to the throne. If it was not for Charles II and his love of yachts, pleasure cruising and racing may never have happened in the UK. The main difference is that the original Royal Yacht was made of wood and this one was crafted out of steel. There is a full photographic build history of this distinctive yacht. The owner informed me that, She has 4 bulkheads, is built out of 8mm steel and 6mm steel on upper sides. Insulation is amazing, with 1/2" teak + 1" insulation + 1" Marine Ply + 1" of teak! She is a work of art and will appeal to someone who wants something very special and unique.

The interior is cavernous and an absolute joy to be in. She has been crafted using reclaimed teak and traditional porthole windows. She is so warm and cosy and just fit for a King! The main saloon has so much character with beautiful windows to admire the view. The galley is amidships and is larger than many home kitchens. There is a seperate toilet, seperate shower and a seperate area with the washhand basin (all adjacent to one another). There is a comfortable double guest cabin and a spacious master suite with island double bed. There is ample storage throughout the vessel and all creature comforts allowing the vessel to be a liveaboard too.

This superb, distinctive and fine vessel would be mine straight away if I won the lottery today! She is reported to be a half scale replica of the first Royal Yacht! Pedigree without the normal problems associated with age and wood. She is believe it or not crafted from 8mm steel. The builder was a true genius.
The interior is beautifully finished in reclaimed teak. The insulation is second to none, she feels really warm and cosy. If you want additional heat then there is an Eberspacher system and a homely multifuel burner too.
This beautiful yacht is a real collectors dream, a rare find and practical too. Come and see her if you are seriously looking to invest in this gorgeous vessel. She is currently moored on a sought after residential mooring on the very picturesque Medway.
