We are delighted to offer for sale this Dufour 40 cruising yacht at a hugely discounted price.
The current owner has had her since new and although over the years she has been well maintained she is now for sale due to ill health and requires some attention.
The new owner will need to;
- Renew the standing and running rigging
- Renew the sail drive seal
- The engine will need servicing
- A full cut and polish along with some minor GRP repairs
Once this work is complete the vessel would be valued at c£85k but due to the above we are offering the yacht for £69,995
Inside though she has been extremely well maintained the woodwork is in great condition and the upholstery looked after and removed from the vessel when not in use.
Being over 12 meters LOA she has an enormous amount of interior space, including a large saloon, 3 separate double cabins, a large galley area, a large U shaped saloon and 2 separate heads, both with showers.
She comes with a decent sail locker with the main being replaced in 2018 and the foresail replaced in 2017.
The engine has been well maintained, serviced and winterised every year but has not been started for a couple of years.
